Greetings everyone, In this email:
New Shipping Default: Ship Complete 📮 In our regular weekly meetings with AEC we discussed the handling of split street date orders within the AEC system and we feel makes it more beneficial to set our default shipping option to "Ship Complete." If you're not familiar, here's what that means - orders from AEC that include multiple products with different street dates will not fill until ALL items are in stock at AEC. For instance, if a customer places an order that has three items on it - one that's already out, one that streets next week and one that streets in late August, the order will not fill until late August when the last portion of the order is in stock. The safeguard in place ensures that all other portions of the order are reserved for your customer and there is no fear of AEC running out of product. The products should remain reserved to the order. The rationale is that this will save on shipping costs and cut down on the amount of packages a customer will receive. We would be happy to hear your feedback on how it's going. Naturally, if there is a long timeframe between street dates (for instance, one item in the order comes out in August, the other piece in December), a customer may prefer to receive different shipments or you may want to make sure there isn't a long delay between an album streeting and the customer receiving it.
In that instance, you can still select split shipment and each album will go out as they're available at AEC. Note: you only have this opportunity if you aren't "auto submitting" to AEC.
For stores that are filling themselves, this does not apply, as you may choose to handle shipments as you wish.

At the top left of the screen just under your store's logo, you'll see a link for "Social Media Assets" alongside a link to the store manual. This link will take you directly to any assets we currently have available and give you easy access to download them for use on your channels.
