It goes without saying, that social media is an incredibly powerful way to connect with your customers, promote specific releases and increase sales. 

It's been a big topic of conversation at Music Biz this week. During a conversation with the label about the upcoming release from The Black Keys (Dropout Boogie, which drops tomorrow), the label team talked about the band and their management's habits of sharing content that's shared and properly tagged. 

While obviously nothing is a guarantee, this discussion really hammered home that utilizing the content we provide each week (or creating your own) and tagging an artist to promote a release increases the likelihood of the artist sharing your store's post.
