Feedback from Music Biz: Importance of Social Media 📌

It goes without saying, that social media is an incredibly powerful way to connect with your customers, promote specific releases and increase sales. 

It's been a big topic of conversation at Music Biz last week. During a conversation with the label about the upcoming release from The Black Keys (Dropout Boogie, which dropped last Friday), the label team talked about the band and their management's habits of sharing content that's shared and properly tagged. 

While obviously nothing is a guarantee, this discussion really hammered home that utilizing the content we provide each week (or creating your own) and tagging an artist to promote a release increases the likelihood of the artist sharing your store's post (and likelihood of you getting increased sales). 

If the post includes a link to purchase the album on your website, it makes the followers of each artist just a click away from turning into a customer of your store. 

Don't forget, we're constantly uploading content that you can share on your store's social media pages, along with handles to properly tag artists, suggested copy and hashtags.
