Delayed Titles (Caroline Polachek) 🐌
Supply chain and shipping issues continue to impact various titles, including three prominent releases, one scheduled to street last week and two slated for tomorrow.
If you have orders placed for any of these titles that are filling via AEC, please be aware that customers may reach out to inquire about the status.
We have changed the date in our system and you may email any customers that have placed orders for it by going to order history on the product page in admin and copying the email addresses.
We know delays of this nature are not ideal and apologize for any inconvenience, but it's beyond anyone's control.
We'll pass along updates on these titles and any other known delays as they're available.
Think Indie RSD Essentials 📋
A reminder that preorders for Think Indie RSD Essential titles went live last Friday, August 19, across all your websites. One change we've made is that these titles are automatically set to "Available" instead of "Not Available" as in years past when you would have to enter your own quantity. This week The Offspring, and Subhumans went live.
If you are NOT direct with Think Indie, you'll need to go through one stops for these RSD Essential titles.
You may view the RSD Essentials that we maintain and keep up to date on your site under the RSD Essentials genre and can also be accessed via your site at: https://domain name/RSDEssentials
It's a good idea to be direct with Think Indie, as that provides you a better chance of getting your desired quantity plus Russell and the team there are incredible partners and serves Indie Retail primarily. In addition, Think Indie often has titles available to direct-only stores. Think Indie related questions please contact Russell Cothran - email@example.com

Email Notification Change 📧
We recently implemented a change in email notifications customers receive after placing an order on your websites.
For orders that are being shipped, the email will now contain the shipping address the package is going to within the body of the email. We think this will be useful for you, our team and the customers, especially if it is a preorder or there is a question about shipping or a discrepancy with the address.
We're also now including the order number within the subject line of each email that goes to customers. This may affect any email rules or filters you could have set up but we think it's best for visibility.
There is also some context to emails where it's in-store pickup when the address is not relevant (or on digital downloads).
These are progressive changes, but we feel they'll make a significant impact in terms of helping everyone involved access pertinent information about all orders. It's also a step for us to work on further customization capabilities on a per-store basis.
Recently Back and Available Online - Section 🆕
In our regular correspondence with AEC, we discovered that we can now easily discern titles that are recently restocked at Alliance and back available for sale.
We felt this was valuable information that many of you may want to leverage as a marketing/selling opportunity for your customers. With that in mind, we've added a new section to each of your websites titled Recently Back and Available Online (titled as such to avoid any confusion with customers who may think you would have these titles in-house locally). We are open to feedback on the Naming of the section, Online Retocks (Updated Daily)?
We are updating the section Mon-Fri each day and 49 titles were added today.
This section will auto-populate as we receive the information from AEC in our Datafeed. It's available on each of your sites as a genre at [yourwebsite.com]/RecentlyBack ( or /Genre/695807).
Of course, if you want to upload recently restocked pieces that you have in-store on your website, you can upload your local inventory as well. More on that in our Two Minute Clinic below.
